Undergraduate Research Associate (2021-2022)
Hannah was an undergraduate research associate who worked with Dr. Lasisi in her research and organization of data regarding the evolution of human hair variation and editing and updating our labs' website. She also completed managerial duties such as scheduling and organizing meetings, communicating pertinent information to the necessary lab members, and interviewing and onboarding new lab members. Since working with Dr. Lasisi, Hannah has completed internships with an interventional pulmonologist, the New Jersey Department of Health, and the AtlantiCare Healthcare system, honing her skills in and knowledge of health communication and public health. She is also working on a documentary with Dr. Mark Shriver to chronicle the life and work of David Stiffler. After graduating, Hannah will be applying for graduate schools in the area of health promotion, with her research focusing on health communication to children and organizations. Hannah is proud to integrate themes of equity and better health for all throughout her work. In her free time, she enjoys reading, surfing, and engaging in social justice work.
