We made it to Michigan!

August marked the start of new chapters for Tina and Sarah at the University of Michigan. Tina wrapped up her postdoc at the University of Southern California and stepped into her new role as an Assistant Professor. At the same time, Sarah Taylor, fresh from finishing her Master's at Penn State, kicked off her PhD journey in the Anthropology department at Michigan.

Both Tina and Sarah also attended the Midwest Population Genetics conference hosted by the EEB department at the University of Michigan. There, Tina presented on some of the work she did as a postdoc under the supervision of Doc Edge and Jazlyn Mooney at USC.
