Kendall has a bachelor's degree in biological anthropology, focusing in forensic anthropology, from Penn State University and a master's degree in forensic DNA analysis and serology from the University of Florida. She worked with the Lasisi lab in 2018 and 2019, while it was part of Shriver Lab at Penn State University. During her time there, Kendall assisted Tina with her hair fiber morphology research, by creating an embedding technique for hair samples that could be used when photographing the hair cross sections. She currently lives in New York City and is focusing on a career in forensic science.
