My name is Calli Quire (pronounced “choir”), and I am a Biological Anthropology PhD student in the Lasisi Lab at the University of Michigan. In 2023, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelor of Science in Biology. My research interests include the evolutionary history of human hair and skin pigmentation, ancient DNA, and human population genetics. In addition, I have a great deal of interest in science communication and public education.
